Peta Bowtell

Office Manager

Peta holds a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science but after commencing work in the legal profession in an administrative role in 2009 she quickly realised that working in the law was her true calling. So strong was her desire to work in the law that in 2016 she returned to studies and commenced a Bachelor of Laws.

Her many years of experience at the coalface in a busy criminal law practice has allowed her to identify and navigate the needs of clients, and successfully create strong relationships with stakeholders such as courts, correctional centres, police and prosecutorial administrative staff. Since 2010 she has worked closely with Michael Cridland and during this time has seen and learnt an enormous amount in relation to criminal defence and specialised sub-fields such as juvenile justice, mental health court and Dangerous Prisoner supervision orders.
